Statues Crafts are traditional metal handicrafts manufactured in Nepal since from the ancient times and still now following the foothpaths and technique by preserving from generation to generation. It consists of metal statues of various peaceful and wrathful deities of buddhism such as buddha statues, hindu gods statue, bodhisattva statues, tibetan gods and guru statue, metal idols and of various hindu and buddhist gods in peaceful and wrathful and dharma protector dieties. These are produced with the lost wax method of casting.
Regarding copper statue, maximum statues are made and casted in copper, and then give finishing carving and after then only processed for gold plating, gold paint and other artsworks as per need.
